Tokay Gecko

The native environment of the Tokay Gecko (Gekko gecko) is in the trees of rain forests in India, Indochina, and New Guinea. They are also commonly seen living on housing beams in human settled areas.

They have a thin slit pupil, and are noctural. During the evening hours, you can hear them calling loudly.

The Tokay Gecko can grow to lengths of around 14", making them one of the largest gecko species.
