KENT FRESHWATER PRO CLEAR 250ML
Description: Kent Pro Clear Freshwater produces and maintains crystal clear aquarium water without affecting pH. Whereas competing products may clog the fishes gills, suffocating them, Kent Pro Clear uses a blend of high tech polymers that will safely flocculate any algae, dirt, bacteria or other cloudy water causing particles. It is also safe for sensitive plants, which can be damaged by some competing products. Contains no phosphates, nitrates, or silicates to cause undesirable algae or slime growths. Not an algaecide. 100% biodegradable.
Directions: Important: Adjust alkalinity to a minimum of 2 dKH (or 40 ppm or .75 meq/L) using Kent pH•STABLE, if necessary. Dilute one drop per gallon of aquarium capacity or one teaspoon (capful or 5 ml) per 50 gallons (190 liters) of aquarium capacity in cup of water and evenly disperse around the aquarium. Precipitated particles should be removed by a properly working mechanical filter and fine filtering medium, such as filter floss, or siphoned out. Allow 8 hours before siphoning. Repeat in 24 hours, if necessary. Note: Do not use this product at night or on very very soft water (i.e. below 40 ppm total alkalinity) without first adjusting alkalinity as directed above! Operate aquarium lights a minimum of 4 hours after use and provide good circulation and aeration during use!
Considerations for use: Kent Pro Clear Freshwater is not an algaecide, but a long chain polymer blend which attracts algae, dirt, bacteria and other organic materials into clumps which are easy to filter out or will settle to the bottom of the aquarium. Kent Pro Clear is very safe for all species of freshwater fish, and safe for plants, as well.
For best results, use a fine filter floss or pad filter and force water through it. Dirt, cloudiness causing particles and algae will collect on this filter and can be discarded.
If the tank is extremely cloudy, you can double the dose.
Do not use more than two doses per week.
If the tank is heavily loaded with fish and plants and has not had proper water changes, use Kent Poly Ox first, to lower the organic loading in the system. Then, wait one day before using this product.
