Hozelock Prima XL pond pumps are high pressure, solids handling pumps, designed specifically to pass large solids, up to 10mm in size, from the pond to a biological filter.

Prima XL pumps have a powerful 230 volt motor, which is canned in a stainless steel case for reliability. With a ceramic sleeve rotating on a triple lip sealed shaft, the working parts are designed to give continous optimal performance.

Two automatic models are available with float switches which are designed to work in sumps, cellars etc.
