At 12 months old it is recommended that the puppy should be switched to Science Plan* Adult Large Breed.
Objectives -
1. To avoid overfeeding and the excessive intake of energy and/or calcium which can result in skeletal disorders.
2. To produce more muscle, greater bone mass and stronger bones in large breed puppies, - benefits which have been shown to result from L-carnitine supplementation.
Science Plan Canine Large Breed with Chicken also contains a Superior Antioxidant Formula to reduce oxidative cell damage.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR
1. Cats.
2. Pregnant or lactating bitches, because of its lower energy density and lower calcium content (compared to Science Plan Puppy). Pregnant or lactating bitches should be fed Science Plan Puppy or Science Plan Puppy Mini.
